Anjeer(Figs) are a delicious treat that has tropical and subtropical origins. The edible structure of the fig is actually a stem tissue, unlike most other fruits. They need very little care because it is a medicinal plant, but provide delicious fruits which can be eaten fresh, It can also preserve or used for cooking.

Planting & Care

Light: Anjeer plants are mainly adapted to subtropical climatic conditions. Therefore they prefer exposure to the full sun.

Water: The anjeer plant is drought resistant. The plants should be watered once in 8-10 days during the summer.

Soil: The Anjeer(fig) plant has high drought resistance and salt tolerance. Well-drained calcareous soil is suitable for growth.

Fertilizer: Farmyard manure can be used to accentuate the growth of the Anjeer tree. Anjeer Plant dosage should be increased every year.

Temperature: Anjeer Plant grow best when the temperature range is between 15 0c to 21 0c.
